Day 01: up on arrival; depart Addis Ababa to south-western part via Melka kuntere, the place where a collection of stone tools are located and also trace back one to two million years. Similarly, en route we visit Adadi Mariam church, it is constructed by Lalibela but unfortunately he died before he had finished it. The other important world heritage site Tiya. It is situated on the way to ArbaMinch, they are monolithic stele and there is no any definite evidence to notice the exact time. But some scholars believe in the 12th or 13th century. Day 02: Next day morning drive to NechiSar National park in order to make boat trip on lake Chamo to see very closely crocodiles , Hippos and abundant sort of water birds like Pelican, Flamingos, Cormorants and others .Then drive back to ArbaMinch. After having lunch, continue our trip to Chencha or the Dorze village to look their traditional house ,dancing, dressing style, as well as to see how traditional bread prepared and of course finally, to taste it .Moreover , the crocodile market also available there. overnight in Paradise lodge.
Day 03: in the next day morning , drive to Konso , it is classified as UNESCO heritage site in 2012.In the afternoon visit their village including the Waka, their house and other cultural products again continue to see the so called New York/New work/ ,it is an interesting scenic view. Overnight: Konso Kanta lodge
Day 04: In the morning travel to Jinka, it is the head quarter of the south Omo, via the Tsemay people. On Saturday there is also a big market where certain tribes come together. Originally, the Ari tribes live here and like the Mursi, Tsemay etc. Overnight: Jinka resort.
Day 05: In the morning session drive to Mago National park, to see the Mursi tribes, they are known especially the ladies by their lip plate. Day 06: Drive to Turmi, in order to see the people of Hammer people which are very known by their dance called “Evangadi” and the bull jumping ceremony (to get the permission to married) Overnight in Buska lodge.
Day 07: In the morning drive to Omorate to see the people of Dasenech/Gelbe by crossing the Omo River to see their life style. Come back to Turmi and in the afternoon drive to Karo people. They are famous by their body decoration. Overnight: Buska lodge.
Day 08: In the next day drive to Yabello through Konso. In order to see the pastoralists Borena people life style. Overnight: Yabello Motel.
Day 09: City tour of yabello includes the Chew Bet or the house of salt that the place where to see how the local people excavate the salt traditionally furthermore, it is also common to see the well singing whom perform in group during fetching water to their cattle. Similarly, bush crow (it is an endemic bird) also available to see. In the afternoon visit their village, it is also accustomed to see and taste their traditionally prepared coffee. Overnight: Yabello Motel.
Day 10: In the next day drive to Yergalem via Hagere Mariam and Dilla. En route it is also available to see the natural coffee forest. At night in Aregash lodge. It is a well coming coffee ceremony and a pre-dinner hyena watching. Overnight: Aregash lodge.
Day 11: Early in the morning trek to nearby forest that reserves more than 100 species of birds and baboons. Furthermore, there are historical cave, sacred sites, hot and cold spring. Overnight the same lodge.
Day 12: Early in the morning visit Lake Awassa, it is the host of several water birds like fish eagles, herons, storks, plovers so on. In addition to this, there are also hippos and daily fish market on lake shore. And drive back to Addis. On the way visit Abyata-Shalla park. Overnight: Jupiter international hotel in Addis.
Day 13: In the next morning, after having breakfast visit the National\Archaeological museum, which is the place where the oldest skeleton ‘Lucy’ as well as a lot of archaeological and historical findings are reserved. Then stay to visit the Trinity church in the morning session. After lunch drive to Entoto which is located in the northern tip of the city and see the Saint Mary church, the museum and the palace of Emperor Menelik there. And then drive back to Addis and see “Merkato” the largest open air market in East Africa then departure.
